How to convert YAML to CSV online

    A list of mappings becomes rows. A single top-level key that holds a list, such as employees:, is unwrapped automatically.

    Nested mappings become columns with dot names, such as address.city.

Tips for converting YAML to CSV

Lists of values

Simple lists such as [sql, python] are joined into one cell, separated by commas.

Missing keys

Columns are the union of all keys. Items without a key get an empty cell.

Multiple documents

Files with several documents separated by --- are combined into one table.

Dates stay as written

Values like 2021-03-15 are kept exactly as they appear in the YAML.
